仅用来修饰不可数名词的有much, a great deal of, an amount of等。
既能修饰可数名词又能修饰不可数名词的有a lot of, lots of, plenty of, a quantity of, quantities of, masses of等。（注意：a quantity of与quantities of后既可接可数名词，也可接不可数名词，它们作主语时，谓语动词的单复依据quantity的单复来定。）

(2)序数词有时可与不定冠词连用，表示数量上“又—”,“再一”
